Highlights of the Board Meeting held July 20, 2007

• Attendance for June, 2007 was 65.1%.
• The Treasurer’s Operating Budget and Charitable Budget was reviewed and approved. The Treasurer will be presenting Club financial information to Club members at an upcoming Club meeting.
• The Secretary and Committee Chairs were asked to start giving recaps of Board and committee meetings to the Club in the Newscope (these will also be on our web-site).
• The President announced his goal of creating an orientation program for new members (and veteran members) on the committees and programs of the Club.
• The President discussed having certain members of the Club participate in a Vision Facilitation Event hosted by the District Visioning Team.
• We have 86 members as of July 1, 2007.

As part of our celebration of the Centennial Rotary Convention in Chicago during June, 2005, the Rotary Club of Northbrook hosted home hospitality for visiting Rotarians from around the world.
